Well, just saw the movie "The Last Word" with Shirley MacLaine. In general, a story about an aging businesswoman who wishes to "control" her own obituary, so she contacts a young local newspaper writer to write her obituary while she is still alive. While there are some few moments of good acting, good music and some insights re aging and life-course - overall the movie is disappointing, too predictable, too "educational", and not very funny. One can skip this one....(but it still enters the list of gerontological movies...).
